Citizen Metals is a prominent leader in trading and distributing SS 347 / 347H Flanges, which is stabilized by the addition of columbium and tantalum. Since these elements in Stainless Steel 347 Slip On Flanges have a stronger affinity for carbon than chromium, columbium-tantalum carbides precipitate within the grains instead of forming at the grain boundaries. Stainless Steel 347H Blind Flanges is the higher carbon composition form of Alloy 347 and demonstrates improved high temperature and creep properties. Stainless Steel 347 Spectacle Blind Flanges has slightly improved corrosion resistance over Stainless Steel 321 in strongly oxidizing environments. Stainless Steel 347H Socket Weld Flanges can be used in applications requiring repeated heating in the range of 800 Degree F and 1650 Degree F.
Stainless Steel 347 Weld Neck Flanges alloyed with columbium-tantalum (referred to as niobium) allows good mechanical properties at high temperatures. Stainless Steel 347H Threaded Flanges is often used for collector rings, annealing box covers, airplane exhaust stacks, jet engine parts, expansion joints, etc. Stainless Steel 347 Lap Joint Flanges are high-alloy steels which have high corrosion resistance than other steels owing to the presence of large amounts of chromium in the range of 4 to 30%. Stainless Steel 347 Orifice Flanges is a non-heat treatable, austenitic, electric furnace processed grade of stainless steel very similar in composition to Type 321.
