Alloy 20 Blind Flanges is a nickel – iron – chromium austenitic alloy that was developed for maximum resistance to acid attack, specifically sulfuric acid. Alloy 20 Spectacle Blind Flanges is an austenitic, nickel – iron – chromium based super alloy with additions of Copper and Molybdenum which provide resistance to hostile environments, pitting, and crevice corrosion. Alloy 20 Weld Neck Flanges has ease of fabrication and elevated mechanical properties, along with perfect for use around sulfuric, phosphoric, and nitric acids.
Restricted carbon plus columbium stabilization in Alloy 20 Socket Weld Flanges permits welded fabrications to be used in corrosive environments, normally without post - weld heat treatment. Alloy 20 Threaded Flanges particularly excels in resisting corrosion to hot sulfuric acids when compared to conventional stainless steels such as Grade 316. Although Alloy 20 Lap Joint Flanges was designed for use in sulfuric acid related industries, it finds wide usage throughout the chemical processing industry. With the additions of niobium, Alloy 20 Ring Type Joint Flanges is stabilized against sensitization and resultant inter-granular corrosion. Although normally considered an excellent quality of stainless steel, these Alloy 20 Orifice Flanges has been classified as a nickel base.
